WHY FLOAT?

Come Float with us here at Rise Floatation Centre on the Wild Atlantic Way.  Our unique, personalised float house in An Spidéal, in the heart of Connemara, is a truly magical experience. At Rise, our state of the art Ocean Float Room, is generously proportioned for a feeling of space and beautifully designed for comfort and luxury.

Here at Rise everything is designed to maximise how fantastic you feel after your float session.   Bask in your after-float glow in our peaceful Float Lounge and Zen garden all of which ensures you have a leisurely, stress-free, experience in a rural scenic setting. Our goal is to provide the very best floatation experience in a clean, tranquil environment.

Our Ocean Float Room contains half a tonne of Epsom salt, allowing you to float effortlessly. The water matches the temperature of your skin and the air, giving you the feeling of complete weightlessness. It has a powerful and profound effect on the body’s ability to reset natural sleep cycles.  One hour in a float room is the equivalent of 4-6 hours rest.

For some, floatation therapy provides the ultimate in relaxation and body recovery, others turn to floating to boost creativity and visualization. We believe our unique float centre offers a welcome rest from the hustle and bustle of the modern-day world.

ABOUT US

We discovered floating a couple of years ago and after our first float experience, we immediately fell in love with the concept. For us floating is an incredibly relaxing experience and gives a sense of profound well-being.

We decided to delve a little deeper into the floatation world and visited many float centres in the UK, Ireland and Europe.  We found that many locations we visited provided an amazing floatation experience, but the after-float glow was somewhat lost when we had to leave the centre and come out into a bustling street, busy city or an industrial estate.

From this, we decided we wanted to create our own unique, personalised floatation experience here in An Spidéal, in the West of Ireland, in the heart of Connemara.  In our exploration, we discovered that Ocean Float Rooms are far superior to pods and people tend to feel more comfortable in a room rather than a pod.

We hope that everyone who visits our centre will enjoy the float experience in a scenic location on the Wild Atlantic Way and feel the many health benefits too.

They have done an amazing job.  A huge float room and such a stunning location. A very zen room to relax after your float for an unrushed experience.
